HOSPITALITY: A SPECIFIC APPROACH

Hospitality is a specific asset class characterized by specific legislation and business component risks (volatile operating cash flow), relationships with third-party hotel operators formalized by non-disturbance agreements, employee management, etc.

Natixis is the first non-German bank to have created a Pfandbrief Bank. Created in 2012, and rated Aaa by Moody’s, Natixis Pfandbriefbank AG provides the most attractive lending conditions for stabilized assets (in terms of rental situation) of all types, from all European countries.

However, we do not limit our business to Pfandbrief loans but also provide other financing structures such as non-mortgage loans, mezzanine or junior loans, CMBS agency deals.

Our local country teams direct all interactions with our clients, ensuring a smooth communication process.

On the investment side, Pfandbrief bonds also offer a very safe investment vehicle for institutional investors as:

  • Pfandbriefe are regulated by the Bafin and the Bundesbank,
  • The cover pool is independently rated and value is regularly checked,
